Alfa I'm currently exploring font manipulation for a project and I'm really struggling to develop this further, any help?

Bravo What in particular are you struggling with?

Alfa It just seems far too basic to present as a final outcome, I've done the whole type face but It just doesn't seem enough

Bravo It feels Like You condensed a serif and chopped of a couple Serifs

Alfa No not from scratch, I have taken a basic Serif fonts initial grid structure and shape then manipulated it by changing the curves and ruling. But yes, it does look like it has just been stretched in size which is what I'm struggling to change.

Charlie I think somewhere in between what the default grid was and what you have would work nicely
